2009世界年度风云车揭晓

当大家的目光都集中在3月份的日内瓦车展之时，我们不妨也关心一下4月9日开幕的美国纽约车展。虽然美国本土汽车工业受金融危机的打击非常大，但这样一场全球瞩目的车展也会闪现出不少亮点。2009世界年度风云车（World Car of the Year Awards；WCOTY）将在车展时揭晓。

创立于2003年，正式官方设立是在2004年，目的是反映全球汽车市场的发展现状，同时在全球范围内评出年度最优秀的车型。这些奖项都是由Steering Committee的评委选出的，这些评委都是全球最杰出的汽车专家，他们来自亚洲，欧洲和北美，所评的奖项不涉及任何公众，厂商，和商业公司的利益，因此，也算是相当客观公正的了。经过了六年的发展，世界年度风云车（World Car Award）已经成为目前世界上汽车界最具影响，意义最为重大的一个评选活动。

在美国当地时间2009年3月9号，纽约国际车展的新闻发布会上，世界年度风云车（World Car Award）公布了最新的汽车入围名单，而纽约国际汽车展将在2009年4月9号开幕。这次大奖赛的评委共59人，来自全世界25个国家，大部分都是汽车界的资深专家。每一位专家都是由Steering Committee根据其在汽车界的影响力和专业性挑选出来的。
