Mercedes-Benz debuts the new SL65 AMG Black Series based on a highly modified and lightened version of the company’s revered SL roadster. The new SL65 AMG Black Series coupe features a carbon-fiber fixed roof, front fenders, hood, trunk lid and front and rear aprons. With all these super-strong, lightweight parts, plus the absence of retractable roof hardware, the car is more than 550 pounds lighter than the standard SL.

The potent Boxster S goes into 2008 with a 3.4-liter flat six-cylinder that boasts the same technology as the smaller engine. The result is a Boxster S with 295 horsepower and 251 lb.-ft. of torque. The potent powerplant hurtles the Boxster S from zero to 60 mph in only 5.1 seconds. The Boxster S can be equipped with either a six-speed manual or five-speed Tiptronic S transmission.

Buick revealed the four-door midsize sedan, Invicta, at the Auto China 2008. Invicta looks as if it's designers may have got the inspiration from the Rivera Concept. Invicta is powered by Buick’s first direct injection turbocharged engine, a four-cylinder powerplant that produces 250 horsepower (186 kW) and 220 lb-ft (298 Nm) of torque. The engine is matched with a six-speed automatic transmission for maximum fuel efficiency.

The Wiesmann GT MF4 with the strong 367 HP 4.8-litres BMW V8 engine completes the sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in only 4.6 seconds and has the top speed of 290 km/h. GT MF4 features the exclusive front end with its large chrome radiator grille, the circular xenon headlights and the infinitely long bonnet.

The 6 Cylinder 3.2 Litre 343 HP BMW engine powers the Wiesmann Roadster MF3. The roadster sprints from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.9 Seconds and has a top speed of only 255 km/h. The roadster MF3 has a body made of glass-fibre reinforced composite material and the power-to-weight ratio of 3.44 kg/hp. The Wiesmann Roadster was first built in 1993 and has evolved continuously since then. To-date, over 680 Roadsters have been produced.

The Alfa Mi.To is a compact yet stylish sports car. Looks like Mi.To is aimed to compete with Mini. The Mi.To is 4.06 metres long, 1.44 metres high and 1.72 metres wide. Mi.To will have 4 engine options, all Turbo (petrol and diesel) that range from 90 to 155 hp. The Alfa Mi.To will be introduced to the international press during June and will then be gradually introduced from July in all the major markets

(庞蒂克)The Solstice Coupe is also rumored to be unveiled this year. It will be inspired by the Solstice Coupe Concept that was launched back in 2002. It powered by a turbocharged version of the 2.0-liter direct-injection four-cylinder engine used in the Roadster version. The maximum output will be around 265 hp. A V8 version will also be used, probably for the GXP version.
